When e-filing at 1099-NEC, does a copy get sent to the contractor?

Yes, the contractor will receive a digital and printed copy of the 1099-NEC if you submitted it through the QuickBooks E-file service. 

The digital copy will be uploaded in a free QuickBooks Self-Employed account. Let me share this article on how you can send an invite so your contractors can access them: Fill Out a W-9 and View Your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For the printed copy, it will be mailed to the address that you provided or associated on the contractor's profile. Our partners started sending them out last December 15 and the last batch was sent on January 29 of this year.
