I appreciate your time in reaching out to us about your tax form, mokhtar-alarhabi. I know how important it is to be able to access and print these documents correctly.

Tax forms are provided as PDF files in QuickBooks. A good starting point is to make sure you're able to view and print PDFs properly from your web browser.

Let's begin troubleshooting by testing if PDF files open and print correctly on your computer directly from the browser.

First, generate and print a test PDF file. Here's how:

  1. Open the browser you use to access QuickBooks.
  2. Open a PDF in your browser. If you don't have one, you can use: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040.pdf
  3. You should be viewing a PDF inside the browser window.

Second, follow these steps to bypass the plug-in if you can't view or print the sample file :

  1. Select Start from your Windows taskbar.
  2. Select Programs or All Programs, then Adobe Reader.
  3. from the menu, select Edit, then Preferences.
  4. Under the Categories, section select Internet.
  5. Select the box to uncheck Display PDF in browser.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Allow any installer window to complete.
  8. Restart your computer.
  9. Once complete, go back to the IRS site and try to print the 1040 form.

If you can't still print the file from the IRS site, proceed to these additional troubleshooting steps:

Just in case the error still shows up, I would recommend reaching out to our support teams. They can take a closer look at this and provide additional steps to make sure you can open or print your 1099. Here's an article on how to reach out to them: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

Please don't hesitate to lean on this community for any additional assistance or questions, mokhtar-alarhabi. We're always here to make sure you can get your important tax documents.

Yes I have already tried all of these I believe it is an issue with the actual pdf itself or an error on QB's side.
