Hello there, beach. I'm happy to assist you with closing the welcome page in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

If you're having difficulty seeing the close button or if a part of the QBO is interrupted, you can try to adjust the zoom settings to fix this issue. You can zoom out by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and pressing the minus (-) key repeatedly. Alternatively, you can hold the Ctrl key and move the mouse wheel downward.

In addition, QuickBooks requires specific settings to ensure that all pages are displayed correctly. Your screen resolution is set to 1024x768 or higher, and your dots-per-inch (DPI) must be Normal or 100%.

You can refer to this article to check the settings on your device: Unable to see the entire page in QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, you can try accessing your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window to see if it is a browser-related issue. You can use the following shortcut keys to access incognito mode:

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

If this works, you can clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.

Additionally, you may find these articles helpful in managing your business using QuickBooks. They cover topics such as account management, banking, and expenses:

Please feel free to post here again if you have further questions about closing the welcome page or other QuickBooks-related concerns. I'm always here to assist. Have a great day.
