Question

When printing, only the title and date are printing, but the data is not. It happens with two printers. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

It worked previously, but this is a new situation.  Printers are both HP, different models.

When printing a sales receipt mine also do not have any description of what I am billing for. Also I have to email myself to print it.  Also cannot print new invoices without emailing myself.  My customers need a hard copy not an email.

I appreciate you following this thread, Dbautorenew.

I'm here to help you overcome any challenges you're encountering regarding printing.

If you're printing the sales receipts using the mobile app, please be aware that we are currently investigating this issue. For now, I suggest contacting our customer care support to add you to the notification list of affected users and receive updates once it's available.

However, if you're printing the sales receipts and invoices through a web browser, did you receive any error messages while trying to print them? Any additional information would help me provide an accurate and timely solution.

In the meantime, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get this fixed. Access your QuickBooks account through an incognito window or private browser. This mode doesn't retain your browsing history, occasionally leading to software issues like missing descriptions, errors, etc. You can use these shortcut keys as a reference:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari

If it works, return to the regular browser and clear the cache. This removes any historical data resulting in unusual browser behaviors. Switching to a different supported browser can also fix the issue.

If the issue persists, updating your Adobe Reader to the latest version or repairing your Adobe installation can resolve most printing issues in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to keep us informed about any printing issues or if you have any other questions related to QuickBooks. We are here to provide you with assistance and support.
