Question

When trying to file my 1099s I keep receiving an error "something went wrong, try later" It's been 3 days... any advice / updates?

I understand the need to have this error message fixed, Sarah.

 

Upon reviewing our records, I've confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing. The engineering team is currently addressing the issue, and it's being prioritized/investigated. While this is actively being addressed, we do not have a specific timeframe for resolution at this time.

 

I would suggest contacting our Quickbooks Support team to ensure that your company is added to the list of affected users, allowing you to receive updates once they become available. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu at the upper right.
  2. Go to the Search tab.
  3. Press Contact Us at the bottom part. 
  4. Enter your concern in the What can we help you with? box.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Select Chat with us or Have us call you.

 

In addition, you can utilize our check the status of your payroll tax payments or filings sent through QuickBooks Payroll to track the status of the payroll tax forms you submitted electronically through QuickBooks to the IRS or state agencies.
