Thanks for bringing this to our attention, treasurer-nsrc17. I'm here to help resolve the error received when filing NJ W-3 in QuickBooks.

Since Community is a public forum, we'll need to collect some personal information to pull up your account. I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online Payroll team to provide updates on the W-2 form filing error issues. Doing so will allow them to perform real-time support, conduct further research, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.

  1. In your QBO account, click Help.
  2. Click the Search tab, and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter the error message in the description box, and select Continue.
  4. Start a chat with a support expert.

I am having trouble filing my NJ W-2's for 2023. Is q.b. setup yet to do this electronically for NJ?
