When using my Chromebook, the scrollbar will appear for only a second and then disappear. Is there a work around? Arrow keys don't work.

Some Chrome/Chromebook users have noticed that their scrollbars have disappeared or gone missing. It appears to be a problem with Chrome OS, but there is a workaround. Let me share them below.

1. Open the browser of your choice.
2. In the address bar, enter this URL: chrome://flags, and navigate to that page.
3. Press Ctrl F simultaneously, locating a small box adjacent to the address bar. Enter "Overlay Scrollbar" in the box, proceed to Overlay Scrollbars, and adjust the setting to Disabled.
4. Click the Relaunch pop up button and restart your browser window , and your scrollbars should work again.
