I can’t find my tax form on the website, can someone help? I misplaced the copy QuickBooks mailed to me

At QuickBooks, we generate a Form 1099-K for our users who use QuickBooks Payments when the total gross payments exceed $20,000 and the number of transactions is 200. From the year 2023, we will generate a Form 1099-K for all our users if the total gross payment amount is $600 or above, regardless of the number of transactions. To retrieve an old 1099-K, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Choose Download Form 1099-K from the Activity & Reports menu.
  3. Click Download.

 

However, if you do not use the Payments account, we suggest that you contact the IRS Support Team. They can help you retrieve your account in a secure environment and help you obtain an old 1099-K.

I clicked on the link to sign into my merchant services account and it brought me to a sign-in page. I signed in multiple times using my password and using a texted code, but it brought me right back to the sign-in page. It didn't say that the password or code was incorrect, it simply directed me to sign in as if it was the first time this was being asked. What now?

Thanks for sharing your concern with us today. Let me provide some updates regarding the looping issue with logging into your Merchant Service Center (MSC) account.

 

If you're trying to log into your MSC account as a Master Admin, please know that we've already received reports that some users have also encountered the same issue you're having. Rest assured, our Engineering Team is looking into it and working to implement a permanent solution to fix the bank connectivity problem. Unfortunately, we don't have an expected timeline for resolving the issue.

 

I encourage you to contact our Customer Care Team to get you in the loop on the latest updates on the issue. This way, they can add you to the list of affected users and notify you via email of the resolution updates. You can present this investigation number (INV-98660) to our representative to speed up the process. See this article for steps to contact them, and ensure to reach out to them during their support hours so they can address your concerns promptly: Contact Payments Support.

 

On the other hand, we can perform some troubleshooting to rectify the log in issue if you're not the Master Admin of the account. We can start by signing into your account through a private/incognito window if you haven't tried it. The private window will not save any history, making it a good place to identify browser problems. Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

If you're able to sign in using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing the cache or cookies is the best way to get a clean slate for your browser. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

You need to go to merchantcenter.intuit.com - here is what worked for me:

 

Log into Quickbooks Online (QBO)

Click on the gear in the top right corner

Click on Account and settings - this will bring you to the Account and Settings screen

Click on Payment 

You should see "Merchant details" as the first item 

   Click on the green "Manage account" box 

This should bring you to the Merchant Center 

 Under Activity & Reports you should see "Form 1099-K" 

  You can then select the year - it will show up if you have a 1099-K form for that year
