Let's check for contractors who meet the requirement by opening the 1099 Transaction Detail report. Then, utilize QuickBooks Online to print the tax forms (QBO). I'm here to help you navigate the procedure, @services11

Each payee who got $600 or more in cash (non-employment) during the previous year must receive a 1099 form from the business. You can view the following information in the report described above:

  • The 1099 contractors meet the threshold.
  • The 1099 contractors are below the threshold.
  • Contractors are marking for 1099.

Furthermore, if you archived your 1099 files, check out these steps on how to view them:

  1. Go to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Taxes. Then select 1099 filings.
  3. Select View 1099 to view a PDF copy.

If the data is unavailable, please reach our phone support team to obtain a copy of the archived or previously filed 1099.

However, if you file the tax form using our 1099 E-file service, you can get a 1099 copy there.

These resources answer frequently asked questions about 1099 forms and walk you through the process of processing them in the online program:

Please leave a comment if you have any inquiries about the 1099. I'm here to make sure everything is in order. Have a great day.
