Why am I getting an error message anytime I try to connect quickbooks to my bankful (merchant) account?

When trying to connect my bankful (merchant) account to my quickbooks, I get an error message that says "Uh oh, there’s a connection problem." How do I fix this?

Hello, saltcreekammo. 

 

I checked our list of open alerts, and I can't find anything similar issue with yours.  

  

Let's check with your financial institution if there is ongoing maintenance on their system. If none, Open your QBO account in a private window to see if the problem is with your browser.  

 

To open it, press these shortcut keys: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P

 

 

When you're able to connect again your bank account, QuickBooks download the transactions automatically, you can start categorizing them. Check this article if you need a guide: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
