Question

Why am I unable to view the 1099 e-files I submitted an hour ago?

The screen says there are no e-filings to show, but when I view the summary it shows they are submitted + when I try to resubmit the 1099s there are no records to resubmit. Please help.

I can only imagine how challenging this situation must have been for you, Robin, and jaevon. Let me make it up to you by ensuring this gets resolved.

The issue about the missing e-filing in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll could be browser-related. The outdated stored cache can affect the performance of the program.

I recommend accessing your account using a private window. This way, we can determine whether this is a browser cache-related issue. The browser utilizes cached data to load web pages quickly. However, excessive cache can lead to problems that impact the appearance and functionality of your account.

Incognito mode helps us verify the issue since this doesn't save any files. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

If the submitted form shows, clear the browser's cache. Doing so deletes all the data from your browser and optimizes its performance. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific issue.

I'll be around if you need more help managing your 1099s with your QBO. Keep me in the loop by tagging me in your reply. Keep safe!
