Why are we not allowed to print the instructions on how to do some of the things from the search

Let me guide you on how to print the instructions in QuickBooks Online, Kelly.

But before we start, are you referring to the instructions on the Help menu? If so, printing them isn't an option. As a workaround, search on the browser and open the actual article. Then, right click to print from there. I've added a screenshot for your reference:
