QuickBooks Management - Why are we not being updated on issues on the new quoting and invoicing issues. You removed ability to go back to the previous working version and stuck your customers with an update that has issues and no work around. I contact support and all they can say is I am sorry. 18 days now and that's the only update we get is I am sorry. This is bank and financial software not a video game. This is software we depend on and its not free. I think we deserve an update on what is going on.

I can only imagine how challenging these changes must have been for you, RC125.

I can see how the new estimate and invoice layout affects your experience when creating sales transactions, as working with the interface we got used to is indeed more convenient. Allow me to provide an overview of these latest improvements and changes introduced in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Effective May 6, 2024, all Plus and Advanced users will be migrated to the new invoice experience. The changes will be mandatory, with no option to change back to the previous layout. The rollout aims to ensure that all QBO users are operating on the new invoicing experience before the end of May.

Meanwhile, Simple Start and Essentials subscribers have already transitioned to the new experience, effective April. Reverting to the previous interface is unavailable.

Moreover, you can get acquainted with these invoice updates to get the most out of your experience by reviewing this article: See what is new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

To ensure you stay updated on all the changes and beta tests for upcoming features in QuickBooks Online, I recommend visiting our Firm of the Future page.

You can also share the issues you've encountered with the new layout. This way, I can provide solutions or workarounds to maintain accurate records and ensure business continuity.

Additionally, I've added this resource to help you personalize and add specific info to your sales forms that matter most to your customers and business: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

I'm ready to help you again if you have more questions about managing your sales transactions. Would you like to learn more about other processes in QuickBooks? I'm with you every step of the way.

That does not address my question. I am asking about the issues. Like how taxes do not calculate correctly. Why the tax check box does not turn off taxes on line items in quotes. Why there is a T after every line item on a quote even though the checkbox is unchecked. Why there is a T after a line item that is empty for spacing. Why the taxes subtotal shows at bottom even tough there is no taxes turned on in QuickBooks. Why some spaces show up in PDF files and other spaces do not. I have items in the INV that were turned in 18 days ago and 14 days ago and 10 days ago and 8 days ago and no one update from anybody. I contact support and they tell me they don't know and have no updates. Your response to my initial question is exactly the kind of response I get from QuickBooks support some canned response that has nothing to do with actual questions. Oh an I apologize. They are apologetic but never get you any information. I am tired of apologies I need actual answers. Where is the management at in this company. Your customers are needing somebody to take charge.

@RC125  RE: Why are we not being updated on issues on the new quoting and invoicing issues.

I think it's because there are too many issues for any human to track.

And also tracking them, making a huge long list, would make it clear how bad they are and what a colossal mistake it was to release them to customers, much less foist them on customers when they're clearly not ready.
