To seamlessly connect your bank to QuickBooks, let me guide you through the steps to fix the 404 error code, or5042610.

Before we do so, may I know your bank's name that you want to reconnect to QuickBooks? Sharing more information could help us get closer to a solution and check if the issue is still under investigation.

For now, I suggest accessing your QBO account through a private or incognito window to check if the issue is related to your browser. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts to start a private browsing session depending on the browser you're using:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

Once you're signed in, reconnect your bank account again. If it works, go back to your previous browser and clear the cache. You may also use other compatible browsers as an alternative.

In the meantime, you can download an updated list of your transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QuickBooks using a CSV file. After you import your transactions, you can review them in the For Review tab.

If you have any queries or other concerns regarding your bank connection, please don't hesitate to leave a reply below. I'm always available to provide assistance.
