Why does QuickBooks keep adding steps required to perform simple tasks?

Am I the only one who feels like QuickBooks is deliberately adding additional steps to perform simple tasks?  Now when I am paying bills, I don't have the "Save & Print" option any more, which automatically takes me to print checks screen.  So if I want to print the checks for the bills I just paid, I have to close the "Pay Bills" screen and then got to "Print Checks".  Is QuickBooks getting paid by the click or something?

This same thing happened to me as well. I cancelled out & started again but I ended up having to print the check from the register- then as mysteriously as it started I had a drop down below the save for Save & Print

!!! Constant software changes the everyday functions  then reverts back- I wonder .....

Before proceeding with the troubleshooting, I recommend doing the steps suggested by 311 Tc of logging out and logging back in to refresh the connection.

 

If the Save and print option is still not showing, let's start with the troubleshooting steps to fix this unusual behavior of the program. To begin, start by opening an incognito or private browser window. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts for the most popular browsers: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

Once you have opened the browser window, log in to your QuickBooks account and try to choose the Save and print option in your Pay Bill page. If there is, proceed to clear your browser's cache. This process will remove and fix specific issues and help the program run optimally. Additionally, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

 

Additionally, you can run a report to get an overview of your business finances.
