work not saved on qbo

I was working in one client file for the 2024 year, categorizing month to month, spent 2 hours and all of sudden the QBO stopped and I did logged out and logged back in and then my work was not saved. Is anybody know why this happened ?

Hi JonRaineri24, please know that this is not what the experience we want you to have in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

QuickBooks will keep any modification as long as you save those changes before exiting the program.

 

The cause of suddenly being logged out of and into your accounts is when your computer or laptop experiences a brief interruption in the internet connection, which can also result in your data not being saved.

 

If the same problem persists, you can do basic troubleshooting steps such as:

 

Performing basic browser troubleshooting.
   1. Try using a private or incognito browser.
   2. Restart your browser.
   3. Clear your browser's cache.

Perform basic internet troubleshooting:
   1. Disconnect from and connect to your internet.
   2. Restart your Wi-Fi.
