Is there a way to undo an approval of a task in Workflows?

I am having to delete an invoice and re-enter it if an invoice needs a change after it is approved or if the wrong approver approves the invoice/task.

Workflows allows any user to approve a task even if it is not assigned to them. That is a seperate problem I would also appreciate help on... MAJOR FAULT.

I'm here to assist you with your tasks related to workflows in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ch1259.

I understand your desire to undo the approval of a particular task in Workflows to save time from deleting an invoice when changes are necessary after approval. While you need to delete and recreate the transaction when the wrong approver approves the invoice/task, you can take proactive action by directly sending a feature request to our product developers. They will evaluate the possibility of incorporating this feature in upcoming updates.

To start:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Tap Next to submit.

Once done, your valuable suggestion goes to our Product Development team to help improve your QBO experience. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

On the other hand, you can choose an approver when setting a custom approval workflow to designate the task appropriately. Just select a name from the Approver dropdown menu.
