Hello
I am using QB desktop Mac. After creating an invoice, it show the wrong amount, although price rules are correct. E.g for an item which is $ 17.99 it shows $ 3.89 - like an 78% discount. Any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks, Jurg

Thank you for providing us with a screenshot, Ziger. The discrepancy in the invoice amount is caused by the combination of all four price rules. I've got the steps to ensure your prices are displayed correctly on your invoices.

Based on the screenshot you've provided, it appears that the main cause of the discrepancy is that all of your price rules are selected, causing them to combine. To ensure you see the correct invoice amount, please make sure to select only the appropriate price rule item from the Applied Price Rules window. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
  2. Go to Customers menu, then select Create Invoices.
  3. Add the necessary information from your invoice.
  4. Once done, click the price rule icon from the Price Each column, beside the amount.
  5. Untick the unnecessary price rule, then OK.

After implementing the adjustments, the amounts displayed on your invoices will automatically update to reflect the correct amounts.
