Did you try to convert data from QB Desktop? Which year version?

I understand the importance of importing our transactions regularly, denn. Let me further provide you with the necessary information about this.

If you were trying to export payroll transactions, please note that we have an ongoing investigation about the inability to export from Standalone Payroll to QuickBooks Online (QBO) with an associated error message, Error while exporting transactions. Please try again later. In this case, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. This way, they'll be able to get your account details in a secure environment and add you as one of the affected users. You'll timely get notified about the progress of the investigation.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Help (?).
  2. Select either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
          • Start a chat with a support expert.
          • Get a callback from the next available expert.

However, if you're referring to a different type of transaction, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to rule out the possibility of a browser issue. We can open your QBO account on an incognito window. Doing so prevents the browser history from being saved.

Refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with a clean slate.

Here's an article you can visit to learn how to import your lists (vendors, customers, inventory, and chart of accounts) to QBO: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online

Keep me notified if you have additional concerns about exporting your transactions to QBO. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
