Good Day

I have been having trouble with my quickbooks adding new inventory items. We have a consignment stock list as well as a normal stock list, but because our normal stock list only works on order base we do not keep stock. i did manage to add some of the items manually, had to 0 the stock on hand, and it shows active in the list, but as soon as i try to make a quotation for a customer it gives me the error "You need to activate this item before updating the quantity."
I have my track inventory on as we do have stock items, but for these specific items we do not keep stock on hand?

how can i fix this problem.

  • Safari: Control + Option + P
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

If this works, you can clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.
