ZEBRA TC21 DATA WEDGE CONFIGURATION FOR BARCODE SCANNING

We recently activated the advanced inventory, to be able to pick P.O.'s more efficiently. Since updating all the items with barcodes I initially connected my phone to the QB desktop app to test and see if the items registered with just a regular Bluetooth scanner and it was a success. I purchased a Zebra TC21 since QB support page said it is compatible, I registered it the same way I did with my phone and everything is showing up just the way its supposed to, except for when i press to scan, the barcode does not register, and since there isn't any UPC field, nothing shows. After searching and trying all the support pages and articles I could find, nothing would work. I tinkered with the settings in the Data Wedge profile to see if I could get it to work but I'm not having any luck. I called QB support to see if they could help and they told me I have to contact Zebra. I called Zebra and they said its an app and hardware configuration and to call QB. So i'm hoping someone here has gone through this issue and could help me configure the settings in Data Wedge or something to get the scan to register in the app the way its supposed to.
