Default COA template in QBO Accountants

Hi,

 

Is there a way to setup a chart of accounts templates under the Accountants Practice Management tab to facilitate setting up new clients in QBO?

Welcome to aboard to the Community space, @BSL_Ling.

 

Setting up a template for your chart of accounts isn't available in QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA). 

 

As a way around, you can look for a third-party app that lets you modify your chart of accounts. You can go to the Apps menu and browse for an app from there.

 

Once you've found one, click it and select Get app now to link it to your QBOA account. 

 

When everything is all set, you might want to share this article with your clients to help them manage their accounts flawlessly: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Hi @JasroV,

 

It would be great if QBO Accountant could built the COA template feature into QBO Accountants as it would be a very useful tool for accountants.  It would really streamline the client onboarding process as we have a defined COA template that we use for all our clients.  Is there a way we can submit this as a wishlist for QBO Accountants develops to consider?
