QuickBooks report that will show the creditor's balance with opening balance debits and credits for the year and closing balance is unavailable. While there isn't a specific report to show both the beginning and closing balance, you can run the Transaction Detail by Account. It contains the total of each account on your Chart of Accounts.

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Find and open a report.
3. Use the basic filters on the report to adjust things like the report dates.
4. Click Customize to apply multiple filters.
5. Click Run reports.

You can also run this report:

1. Go to the Accounting tab and select Chart of Accounts.
2. Search the liability account, then select Run report under the Action column.
3. Select Customize and make sure that the Report period is correct.
4. From the Filters section, select a Customer.
5. Select Run report.
