Add to an existing invoice in Go Payments

Hello,

 

Is there a way to add to an existing invoice in the Go Payments App?

 

Let's say the customer decided to use a credit card, we charge a convenience fee for that, but it is not on the existing invoice, is there a way to add it on the Go Payment app?

Hello there, @AnitaDCBS.

 

Yes, I can definitely assist you in editing your existing invoice in the GoPayments app. 

 

To do this:

 

  1. Open the GoPayments app.
  2. Tap the Plus (+) and select Invoice payment.
  3. Locate the customer, or use the search field.
  4. Select the existing invoice the customer is paying for.
  5. Tap Charge and select a payment method. In your case, change the payment method to Credit Card.

It will then automatically charge the customer.

 

Also, since QuickBooks Online (QBO) is synced with the GoPayments app, you can also make the changes there. Once the modification in QBO is done, it will automatically reflect in the GoPayments app.
