Adding donation field on pledge invoice

Hello,

We are a non-profit that uses pledge invoices in QBO to collect tuition payments from students attending our program in the summer. I am wondering if it is possible to add an optional 'donation' field to the invoices that would be fill-able to any amount and added to the invoice total. We already use the product/service 'donation' in our bookkeeping so I am just curious if it's possible to add this option for our customers to donate at the same time as paying their tuition.

I’ll go over how we can work around adding a donation field on pledge invoices in QuickBooks Online, @GMCMF.

 

First, I appreciate you using a non-profit organization for your QBO account and using the Product and Service feature to create a donation item. However, adding the donation as a field in your pledge is unavailable.

 

We hear you, and we’re constantly improving to enhance our customer's experience with program features while using QuickBooks. Thus, this would be a great time to send this suggestion to our Product Development Team. This way, they can review and determine what features to add for future product enhancements. Here’s how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your feedback Suggestion.
  3. Press Next.

 

You can track the progress of your feature request in our Feedback Forum.

 

When improving our products, we constantly consider your suggestions. The more requests this gets, the more likely it'll be part of future enhancements.
