Hello,

I want to know if it is possible to attach billable expenses to an invoice without them showing up on the invoice. For example I want to bill $200 for brochures to a customer. The billable expenses are $10 printing, $50 shipping and $100 design. I don't want all of these to show up on the invoice. I just want one line that says $200 brochures but it has all of these billables linked to it. Is this possible

Thank you

This can be a great feature, kship.

Attaching billable expenses to an invoice without showing all the items in the transaction is unavailable in the program. I can see how this option would be beneficial to your business. I'd recommend sending a feedback request directly to our Product Development team. This improves the features of the program.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear menu and then select Feedback.
  2. Type in your feature request in the description box.
  3. Once done, click on Next.

You can also track feature requests through the Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online website.

Additionally, I've added an article that'll help you notify your customers about invoice due dates to ensure you're paid on time: Set up Manual or Automatic Reminders.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance tracking your sales transaction in QuickBooks. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
