Bill pay in QB desktop

Let's ensure to select a credit card as the payment method when paying your bills. This way, the said transaction will show up on the credit card register and balance the amount.

Here's how to do it:

1. Click the Vendors menu at the top, and then choose Pay Bills.
2. Select the vendor bill you want to pay.
3. Choose Credit Card from the Method drop-down.
4. Click Pay Selected Bills.
   

If the same thing happens, you can run the Verify and Rebuild tool to determine and fix possible data issues.

When you're ready, you can now reconcile your account to keep your records correct.
