CHECK VOIDED BUT PAID WITH CREDIT CARD

I had to void a lost check by deposit for 3 bills but had to pay by credit card for those 3 bills. Do I have to reenter those bills again? Its shows they are paid in QB but I need to process CC transaction.

Yes, you'll have to re-enter the three bills. This way, you can match the bill and the credit card payment. 

 

Let me walk you through the steps:

 

  1. From the Banking menu, select Write Checks.
  2. On the BANK ACCOUNT field, select your credit card account.
  3. Enter the necessary details.
  4. Click Save & Close.

    Is it better to void old check or void by deposit? The check was lost for 5 months.
