Hi there, @LEFRA 2022. I can provide you with some information about your direct deposit in QuickBooks Online.

If you have QuickBooks Payments, the system evaluates payments regularly to ensure that everything is in order. It's advantageous to all parties involved in the payment process.

If a deposit is being held, it signifies that something in the batch that makes up the deposit has generated an alarm. It also implies that our Risk Management Team is looking into your case for you.

There are two reasons why funds are held:

  • One or more transactions in the deposit have raised security concerns.
  • The deposit surpasses the account's minimum balance (approved monthly amount or average individual charge).

Here's an article about this for more details: Why Are My Funds On Hold?

After that, you’ll need to contact the resolution center once more if you need to follow up on your direct deposit.

Moreover, You can also contact our Merchant Support Team for assistance. They can go over the transaction with you and provide you with updates. Consider the following article: Contact Payments or Point of Sale Support.

If you need anything more, we'll be right around to assist you. Simply leave a comment below or ask a new question, and we'll gladly respond.

I have the same problem. After being “assured” my payment was going to be cleared in 2 days i just get an email with more questions. When i asked to speak to a manager they said i will get a call in 3 days. Zero help. And escalation of your case means nothing

This isn't the experience we want you to have, Mrt22.

I understand how important it is for you to get the deposit that is currently on hold released. The high volume that our resolution center received causes the review process to occasionally take longer than expected.

Usually, QuickBooks Payment team will request additional information to finish the review process. For instance, you'll be ask to send us a copy of the original invoice you gave your client. On our end we can see that someone have reached out to talk to you. Did you get the information you required to release the deposit?

If you haven't received, please let us know by adding any details on this thread. Any information will be helpful in determining what to do next to solve this.

We'll keep an eye on your response. Have a great day.
