customer payments

I used to verify customer payment using Accounts and Setting ==> Payments ==> Manage Account.  I would be able to see exactly who made each payment to my client's bank account.  Now those same options take me to MY books.  I can't seem to find a setting to stay in my client's books.   The bank deposit that feeds to QBO does not give me client's names and I need to know who to attribute the payment to (we have many with the same exact amount).

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! I will be happy to help. Could you please confirm that you are logged into the correct QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and that you have access to the client's specific QBO file?

 

You also mentioned that you are seeing your books. Could you select the client's QBO file from the drop-down menu on the upper left corner of the screen when logged into QBO? Also, double-check the name at the top of the QBO screen to confirm you are in the correct client's file.
