I am unable to post deposits after I have received payments.  Help with this issue.

I’ll be delighted to help you about creating a bank deposit in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @lmulkey4007@yaho.

 

Beforehand, is your online banking connected to your QBO account? If so, the deposits will automatically reflect in your banking feeds. From there, you can automatically Match or Add this to the payment transaction. 

 

If you manually enter all the transactions including the deposits. Then, I suggest you perform browser troubleshooting steps. In this manner, we can eliminate the common errors that prevent the application to perform well since you mentioned that you’re unable to post the deposits.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

 

Once done, create the deposits in this setup. Then, proceed with clearing the cache in the browser to prevent this from happening again. If you have another supported browser, you can choose that instead.
