Do I have to pay a monthly fee to receive a one time payment?

As an overview, QuickBooks is designed for recording purposes only. It keeps track of your earnings, expenses, mileage, and tax information.

If you're invited by your employer or client to fill out your Form W-9 by signing in from QuickBooks Self-Employed to complete the form and send it back to them. 

Once completed, you can access QuickBooks Self-Employed for free and download your 1099-MISC when it's ready.
