Do we need a credit card reader for each employee?

I'm here to answer your query with regard to credit card readers.

 

The card reader helps you accept invoice payments by credit card or ACH bank transfer. With that, you don't need a card reader for each customer. The same thing goes if your employee is also your customer.

Hi, thanks for the response but what I am asking is if I have 4 employees, do I get a card reader for each one?

Thanks for getting back here, @Twinsmom07. I'll share additional information about the credit card reader in QuickBooks.

 

The credit card reader is used to quickly take and process customers' payments. If you have employees who process customer payments, you can invite them to your QuickBooks Merchant account instead. Additionally, getting a credit card reader for each of your staff is unnecessary.
