Does QuickBooks offer a payment service? Meaning a way for me to collect payments.

Yes, QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) has a payment service that allows you to take and process via credit card or bank transfer. You can activate it when creating an invoice. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. Tap on Invoices from the left menu, then select Create invoice.
  3. On the New invoice page, go to the Get paid fast and free section and click the Setup payments link.
  4. Then, follow the onscreen instruction to complete the process.
