Food Delivery Expense For Restaurants

Hello,

I have an LLC and work with companies such as GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eat. As it can be understood, I have a restaurant and receive service from these companies. However, I do not know under which category the payments/expenses I paid to these companies should be.

For the Income you can set up a Food Deliver Income Acct and then, if you want, have a separate Sub Category for each of the services you use.  This can make it easier trying to reconcile your records to their statements.  Also be sure to make the entries the same as the service shows them on the Statement (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.).  The different services may do it differently, but if you match your entries to theirs, it will make it a lot easier to reconcile.

 

For the Expense, make a similar Food Deliver Expense Acct and do the same with the Sub Categories.
