Funds deposited

A client paid an invoice with a credit card three days ago.  QB sys the funds have been deposited.  Yet they're not in my bank account.  What should I do? Thanks!

Thanks for alerting us, Kerry. I’ve got some information about deposit times for client payments.


The time it takes to get the money into your bank account depends on your product and payment plan. Generally, credit card payments are deposited the next business day. If you're new to QuickBooks payments, your first deposit may take a bit longer and should arrive within 4-5 working days. No worries, customer payments process much faster going forward.


Once the funding time exceeds its expected number of days, you can contact our Payments Support team directly for assistance. They have the ability to trace and review the transaction, so you can confirm the status of your payment.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. On a web browser, log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select the Help (?) menu.
  3. In the Assistant window, type in “Talk to a human” in the field.
  4. Enter “Deposit concern,” then go to the Contact option.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat
    • Get a callback


You can also chat with our representatives using the Merchant Service Center. I recommend checking our business hours first so you’ll receive responses quickly.
