How do a automatically turn off or 'void' an invoice? I want make so that payment cannot be made after a certain date.

Since QBO keeps track of all the transactions entered, know that the option to void an invoice automatically isn't available inside the program. Therefore, you must manually void the transaction to zero out the invoice amount. Now, if you want to set restrictions to prevent entering transactions beyond that specific date, you'll want to close your books.
