How do I change (edit) a credit card name in QB Self-employed?

I can help change your credit card name in QuickBooks Self-Employed, @kunihiropottery.

 

If you mean updating your credit card for the billing and subscription, here's how we can edit the information:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Self-Employed in a web browser. 
  2. Click your profile ⚙ icon and then choose Billing info.
  3. In the Payment Information section, choose Edit ✎.
  4. Update your payment info or the credit card name.
  5. Select the checkbox to acknowledge the change and confirm your updates.
  6. Once done, click Update and then select Close.

On the other hand, if you're referring to changing the credit card name connected to QBSE, here's how to update this: 

  1. Click your profile ⚙ icon at the upper right corner.
  2. Under Transactions, select Bank accounts
  3. Click the pencil icon next to your credit card account.
  4. Change the name of your credit card. 
  5. Once done, choose the X icon to close the page.

Once your transactions are downloaded inside QuickBooks, you can now categorize them.
