How do I text a payment link from the Gopayment app

We’re currently unable to text a payment link to customers using the GoPayment app, @1014921. I’m here to share a workaround you might consider using to accept payments on the go.

 

We can only create and email their invoices so that they can pay online. To do so, you’ll need a valid email associated with your company file. You can also provide your email when you send it to your customer.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. From the main menu, create a new or open an existing transaction (estimates, invoices, sales receipts).
  2. Go to the 3 dots menu, then choose Email.
  3. Fill out or edit the recipient's information.
  4. Select Send.

 

Additionally, you can accept payments through the app. From there, you can send the receipts by email or text. This gives you the convenience of tracking and recording transactions.

 

Please also know that processing payments depends on which app you have. If it has a green background, you have the green GoPayment app. If it’s a blue one, it's the blue GoPayment app. To learn more about recording a customer's payment accordingly, check out the Step 3: Process payments on the go section of this article: Process payments in the GoPayment app.
