Hello there, @Stephanie11_2.

I can think of three possible scenarios based on your concern above. I'll discuss each of them below.

When you say you want to dispute a charge on your card, you're maybe referring to any of the following:

  • Credit card dispute or chargeback for QuickBooks Payments
  • An issue with your QuickBooks billing
  • Reverse a transaction (bill payment) on Online Bill Pay

If you're referring to a credit card dispute or you get a chargeback notice in your QuickBooks Payments account, you'll have to respond according to the instructions we send you via email. This way, you can dispute the chargeback and follow the process accordingly. To learn more on how to handle chargebacks, please see this article: Handle chargebacks and retrieval requests for QuickBooks Payments.

If you have an issue with your QuickBooks billing, you can dispute it by contacting our Customer Care team. They have the tools to verify the charge on your card and process the necessary refund on your behalf.

On the other hand, in case you want to reverse a bill payment on Online Bill Pay, you can do it by either canceling or voiding the transaction. But make sure you're within the correct timeframe. To learn more about cancelling a bill payment and some reminders before voiding transactions in Online Bill Pay, please refer to these articles:

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference to guide you in managing your business growth and transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO): QuickBooks Learn and Support.
