How get proof of invoice payment paid thought bill pay

I'll be glad to help you locate the proof of payment for the invoice you've paid through QuickBooks Bill Pay, @mnordeen.

In QuickBooks Online, to obtain proof of payment through QuickBooks Bill Pay, you can navigate to the Banking menu. Then, search for check or bill payment transactions that are connected to Bill Pay.

Let me guide you on how:

1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu 
2. Select Banking, where you can view your connected bank accounts and transactions.
3. Proceed to the For Review and Categorized tab and look for the transaction related to the invoice payment you made through bill pay. 
4. Look for the check or bill payment.
5. From there, you can take notes or screenshot the transaction.

When your ACH payment through Melio is complete, it gets a Nacha trace number. This 15-digit confirmation number is provided by the funding bank and identifies the payment. You can give the Nacha trace number to your vendor as proof of payment. It also assures you that the Nacha scheme has managed your payment. Both payors and vendors can use the trace number to track and find the payment. You can present the Nacha to the receiving bank in order to locate the payment in question.
