Question

How to add quickbooks payment method to my website

Is there an integration with some kind of payment gateway, so I can use QuickBooks Payments instead of Stripe to collect payments on the website? For Stripe, there is an extension and API key to be added to the website for it to work, I cannot seem to find anything like that for this. To purchase the WooCommerce Intuit Payment Gateway plugin I am required to connect to wordpress.com account, which my client doesn't have and I don't know why I should even create one if we are using Wordpress.org to run his website. I am completely confused how to do this. Please just pointing me in the right directions would be awesome.

If you are not using WooCommerce, which webstore platform do you have?

I am using Woocommerce, but I wasnt the initial person to set up the website, I am just doing updates and the client wants to migrate all services to Quickbooks, including the payment on the website. I just can't seem to wrap my head around it how this works in Quickbooks payments. I don't have much experience with integrations, but Stripe seems very straightforward while this doesn't.

@maddstylecode

QB Payment doesn't support any webstore natively. You should consider sticking with Stripe to connect with WooCommerce and utilize one of these apps to reconcile transactions into your QBO.

Hello there, @maddstylecode. I appreciate you for getting back to us.

I want to direct you to the right support that can help you add a QuickBooks payment method to your website.

We have a separate online forum called the Intuit Developer Community, where you can post this type of question. I suggest reaching out to them as they can provide insights and guide you through the process of adding a payment method.

You can always go back here if you have more questions. Take care and have a good one, maddstylecode.
