I have QBDT 2024 for Mac and I'm using it as  stand Alone..not online.  I would like to modify the list of Payment Methods to include ACH payments.  I'm not comfortable with connecting with my bank online.  So is there any way that I can modify the Payment Method to ACH without paying QB a monthly charge?

Thanks!  That was what I needed.  Now I have a second question and that is is there a way to show a specific Payment Method for a Customer?  I have three seller financed loans and one pays with the previous mentioned ACH and the other two pay with checks.  The two payments with checks go in the Undeposited Funds and naturally the ACH goes directly in the General Checking account.

How do I show a "preferred payment" for each?

Yes, @rcpinvestmentsfunds. There's a way to show a specific payment method for a particular customer in QBDT for Mac. Let's collaborate and finalize this setup, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales transaction.

To display the preferred payment method for a customer, we will need to edit the customer's information or profile. Let's ensure their preferred method is indicated and ready for efficient transactions:

  1. Go to the Customer Center.
  2. Choose the specific customer on the list to edit their profile.
  3. Head to the customer's payment settings.
  4. Select their mode of payment under the Preferred Payment Method.
  5. Once done, click OK.

Moreover, you can access detailed reports through the Customer Center, which provides an overview of data specific to a customer you select: Run reports from the Customer Center in QuickBooks for Mac.

Accurate payment methods for your customer will streamline transaction processes, and we're here to ensure everything is as smooth as possible. If there's anything we can offer, please return to us so we can lend you a hand.
