How to Print Mail Labels in Desktop Enterprise Suite to a Label Printer for Payables

We are using the Windows version of Desktop Enterprise Suite

We need to print address labels for all of our payables each week as we are not using window envelopes anymore for security reasons. I would like to purchase a dedicated label printer to do this so that it only prints out individual labels needed.

Can anyone assist with this? Do you need to make a report? Can you print to single labels on a roll?

I've got your back, Cdibi. Printing labels in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise Suite is a straightforward process that can significantly streamline your workflow or organizational needs. I'll outline a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through the process.

First, make sure your printer is already set up. No need to generate a report. You can now proceed with printing address labels. You also have the option to print single labels. Here's how:

  1. Go to File and choose Print Forms.
  2. Pick Labels and select the labels you want to print.
  3. Tap OK.

  4. From the Printer name dropdown, click your printer.
  5. In the Printer type dropdown, choose Label Printer (Single Label).
  6. Hit the Print button.

By following these steps, you can print labels directly from QBDT, simplifying your workflow and ensuring that they meet your business needs. If you need further assistance printing forms or running reports in QuickBooks Desktop, add a post below. I'll keep an eye on this conversation.

Thank you for that info. Couple of follow up questions:

1.) Can you use any size label? How does it know what size label you are using?

2.) We want to print weekly payables. After printing the checks how do I print select that that list of vendors to print?
