I think I entered payments twice, and want to know if there is a report to compare the bank transactions to the paid invoices.

Glad to see you here in the Community, @shedieval. I'll be more than happy to help you with your query so you can accomplish your tasks and ensure your data inside your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company is accurate.

To compare bank transactions to the paid invoices in QBO, you can run two separate reports and customize them to show the data you need for your business. You'll want to run the Invoices and Received Payment Report and the Deposit Detail Report. Doing this allows you to get a glimpse and your invoices and deposits to ensure that you got them right. It'll be my pleasure to input the steps below so you can proceed.

Here's how you can generate the Invoices and Received Payment report:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Reports tab.
  3. In the Search bar, type Invoices and Received Payment report.
  4. Choose the correct report period to see accurate data.

You can also download the report by clicking the Export button beside the Printer icon. This way, you have a copy and can compare them with the other reports in your device screen.

Now, you'll want to run the Deposit Detail report for your bank deposits. To begin, here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Reports tab.
  3. In the Search bar, type Deposit Detail report.
  4. Input the correct report period, and then in the Rows/columns section, ensure they are group by Name.

Additionally, if you want to modify them, I've got you this article for further guidelines: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

In case you have the time, feel free to see this page about how you can keep the current report settings and have them carry over to your future reports in QBO: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

@shedieval, I'm rooting for your success in getting this resolved. I'll be here in the Community if you have any additional QuickBooks-related questions or need help performing specific tasks in QuickBooks. Don't hesitate to get back to me. Take care, and have a nice day!
