My Discover credit card disconnects from my account every time I connect it.

Since you encounter issues with reconnecting the account, let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can get back to working order. 

To get started, let's try logging in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. This way, we can check if it's a browser data issue.

Here's how:

•  Command + Shift + N (Safari)

•  Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)

•  Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

Once logged in, go back and try to reconnect your credit card account again to double-check.

If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. 

If they get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one. 

Once you've determined the transactions, you can go back to the Banking page and categorize the transactions that weren't added or matched yet to your register.
