Hello there, Taro. I got some information and actions to take so you can accept payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To streamline the process of receiving payments, you'll need to sign up for QuickBooks Payments and get approved as a merchant. In this process, you'll be prompted to enter your business, personal, and banking information.

Take note that this service is subject to eligibility criteria, credit, and application approval. After signing up, it takes up to 2 business days to get an approval email. Sometimes, we need more info before a decision can be made. If this happens, you’ll get an email with what we need.

Your approval email has instructions on how to get started taking payments with your merchant account. You’ll need to connect your account to QuickBooks and turn on online payments

Follow these steps to set up Payments in QBO:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Click on the Gear icon at the top right, then select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose the Payments tab, then click  Learn More in the QuickBooks Payment section.
  4. Hit on Set up Payments.

Alternatively, you can apply directly on the QuickBooks Payments website. Once done, review the Merchant Services Agreement to understand the legalities of Intuit's payment processing and merchant services.

Moreover, you can contact our Payments Support team if you want to seek assistance with your application status. They have the tools to review your account, give updates, and ask for further requirements from you if need be.

Once everything's good, refer to this article on how you can accept online and in-person payments within the program. Visit the article for reference: Receive and process payments in QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Payments.

Keep me updated with your other payment-related inquiries by commenting below or posting again in the Community space. I'm always around to help you get settled with any QuickBooks concerns.

@tarod113-icloud-

They will not reveal the reason why your merchant services application was rejected. Are you B2B or B2C?
