How do I get online checks to work?  I have gone through the process and selected activate and then the online checks option on write checks disappears.  I am connected to my back because I can download transactions.  How do I fix this as Quickbooks phone support is way past useless.

To get this sorted out, updating the QuickBooks Desktop release version is a good start when it comes to fixing program-related issues, and make sure to create a backup copy of your company file.

 

After that, let's verify and rebuild your data. You can follow the steps below:

 

To Verify Data:

 

  1. Click Window at the top menu bar, then Close All.
  2. From the File menu, choose Utilities.
  3. Tap Verify Data.

 

To Rebuild Data:

 

  1. Click Window at the top menu bar, then Close All.
  2. From the File menu, choose Utilities.
  3. Hit Rebuild Data.
  4. You will receive a warning message to backup your company file, press OK.
  5. Click OK when you get the message "Rebuild has completed".

Verified Data.  It said nothing is wrong with data. Rebuilt data nothing wrong, still can't write online checks. Please advise how to get online checks to work.
