How to I stop the paid stamp from printing on invoices?  I believe there used to be an option while creating custom form but I can't seem to find it.

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @MC74. I'm here to share some information about getting rid of the PAID stamp on an invoice printout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Removing the PAID stamp on an invoice printout is currently unavailable in QBO. Ideally, the paid watermark will appear on the invoice once you've already received the payment. The only way to remove the paid stamp is to revert the status to unpaid.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu, then choose Invoices.
  2. Select the Invoices tab.
  3. Locate the invoice you want to change status and select View/Edit from the drop-down arrow under the ACTIONS column.
  4. Click the 1 payment made link and select the date link to open the payment.
  5. From the Receive Payment page, unmark the invoice to unlink the payment.
  6. Click Save and close.
  7. Select Save as a credit.

 

Once done, the edited invoice will show as unpaid, and the paid watermark will be removed.
