I credited the same payments 2x.  How do I delete/remove these payments? They are not in the same month.

Can you help me verify the type of payments you're trying to delete in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? That way, I can provide you with the right steps to address the issue.

Payments for services. I have overstated their accounts and now they do not think they have said balance due.

I'm here to guide you in deleting them, cahale.

 

You can go to the Sales menu to view and delete the payment you've recorded for that customer. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Select Sales from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the All Sales tab.
  3. Find the appropriate payment, then select it to open the transaction.
  4. Click More at the bottom, then choose Delete.
  5. Select Yes to confirm the changes.
